Shipment of firearms & other items requiring a
FFL.
We Strongly encourage anyone who is contemplating shipment of a firearm
to
consult with your local BATF office prior to shipment. Due to the
variety of
federal, state, and local ordinances for firearms possession & shipment
YOU are responsible for researching and
understanding the federal, state and local laws prior to
shipping a
firearm.
Handguns can not ship
through the
USPS and must ship overnight. They can be mailed directly back to
you after
refinishing. For ease in shipping, we suggest including a return label. this makes pricing easier and allows each individual customer to verify addresses themselves and to insure shipments to their personal needs.
Be sure to inform the carrier you will use regarding their policies for
shipment of firearms, they must be declared!
**Dealers and Manufacturers please call for requirements regarding shipping.

Shipping costs are not included in our pricing for
refinishing.
Please include specific directions on what you
want done to your gun.
We use & suggest the following shipping companies for shipment
of firearms
& related accessories:
FedEx USPS
Please contact your desired shipper for exact shipping charges. We
recommend
you insure any item shipped for the full replacement value of the
item(s) being
shipped. (Standard shipping insurance covers only $100.00).
**Amelon Firearms is not responsible for any item lost or damaged in
shipping.
Damaged Goods
If you receive goods that have been damaged during shipment, take pictures, save the
package
and contents, then notify the shipper immediately to file a claim.
Failure to
follow these instructions may void your claim for damages.
Returns
Complete customer satisfaction is our goal. If you are not completely
happy
with our services, we want to hear about it. Let us know if something
is wrong
and we will do what we can to make it right. Forms
of Payment
Money Order Certified Cashiers Check Personal Check - Shipment of
completed
items will be held until a personal check clears.
*Refinishing work requires a minimum 50% nonrefundable deposit prior to work
being
started.
*Any Item that remains unclaimed, if there is no payment, or contact from a customer for 90 days, anything in the building will become the property of Amelon Coatings. This is to deter people from sending items that there is no intention of paying for, and/or from becoming a storage facility. Please keep us notified of what you are wanting done with parts and there will be no issue. if no contact is made within a timely fashion, a reasonable storage fee will be applied to the bill.
*Amelon Firearms has the ability to change and/or vary the terms and conditions at any time. You are responsible to check federal, state and local laws regarding shipping as Amelon Firearms cannot be held responsible.
